About Dr. Tricia Seymour-Barrier

I was blessed as a child to grow up with parents that encouraged my creativity and intellectual curiosity. I was taken to music lessons, art classes, museums, theater, opera, fashion shows, and experienced extensive travel. My parents encouraged me to be creative and unique.

My mother was an imaginative writer, poet, and artist. My parents understood the need for a true wholistic approach to life, including a strong spiritual connection. My mother would ask for guidance and hear answers in her head, she was very intuitive, even if she didn't have words for what she experienced.

Like many of you, I was a very intuitive, empathic, sensitive child, and learned how to deal with the world around me. As I grew up, I learned how to embrace my gifts, balance the energies, and honor my insights and guidance. Over the years, I have been trained in many modalities for balancing your mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects.

I knew from an early age that the field of psychology would be my path. I wanted to understand the human mind (conscious and unconscious) and know the inner workings of the psyche, to guide people on their journey. I embrace each being as wholistic (body, mind, emotion, and spirit) and learned and developed ways to support them.

Growing up I was taught about nutrition, vitamins, herbs, and went to wholistic practitioners. I have taught at the university level and have extensive training in psychology, energy therapies, hypnosis, guided imagery, meditation, various spiritual paths, creative therapies (movement, art, & music), and many natural health modalities.

Each phase of my life has been unique and now it is time to “level up” in the Game of Life, expressing all that I have learned through my creativity. I love color, light, and texture in life and in my creations. My jewelry reflects the healing art of beauty and flow. Utilizing crystal gemstones, textures, natural elements, herbs, flower essences, and colors helps to heal and balance the human condition. I embrace all the diverse aspects of myself and funnel these energies into my healing work and multi-media art.
